You are invited to become a member of an exclusive group of data storage management resellers by joining LSC's "Protect and Serve" Reseller Program. Qualified resellers have the experience and technical expertise to bring storage peripherals and software together into one complete solution. Under this program, "Protect and Serve" Resellers can sell LSC SAM-FS systems previously not available to resellers through distributors. Marketing Communications

To keep competitive, you must stay well informed. As a "Protect and Serve" Reseller you will receive, on a regular basis, marketing communication materials to help keep you one step ahead of your competition. These communications include:

Sales Tools

A successful marketing program needs the right selling tools. As a "Protect and Serve" Reseller, a broad range of marketing materials are available to you including:

Marketing Starter Kit
LSC would like to help resellers in the program sell LSC products. So upon completion of the application process, "Protect and Serve" Resellers receive a Marketing Starter Kit with details on all marketing/support programs and product information. The kit contains:


Technical Support Programs
LSC offers a technical support program to "Protect and Serve" Resellers. These services are offered under LSC's Support Program.

LSC Training
LSC's Education Department provides complete training. Training materials are available upon request.

Order Configuration Sheets
To ensure all product orders are being properly setup and configured, resellers must fax their configurations to LSC or an authorized "Protect and Serve" Distributor. A supply of Configuration sheets is included.

LSC Online
LSC Online is a direct connection to LSC's products, programs and services. Software drivers, publications, new product announcements and technical notes are available on this service. "Protect and Serve" Resellers have access to LSC with no user charge. The LSC Online service is accessed via Internet address inform@lsci.com.

Customer Service Programs

As a "Protect and Serve" Reseller, you can augment your existing support capabilities. The program includes a host of base services available directly from LSC as well as optional support services for which resellers can contract.

Resellers who are not members are referred back to an Authorized "Protect and Serve" Distributor to receive technical support. In addition, "Protect and Serve" Resellers who are not support members must offer their customers LSC service and support contracts to their end users.

Products For The Total Solution

As a "Protect and Serve" Reseller, you have the ability to sell LSC's complete Storage and Archive Manager File System.

LSC's SAM-FS is available to you exclusively through this program to help you sell a total solution to your customers.

Application Procedures

Value-added resellers must meet the following criteria to become a LSC "Protect and Serve" Reseller:


The "Protect and Serve" Reseller Certification Process:

Step 1
"Protect and Serve" Reseller Application is completed and submitted for review to LSC's Channels Marketing Department.

Step 2
LSC reviews the reseller's application.

Step 3
Reseller is notified within 7 working days as to the status of the application.

Step 4
Reseller is accepted into the "Protect and Serve" Program.

Step 5
Reseller is issued a "Protect and Serve" Reseller Number.
